Tender Touch Senior Services was founded in August of 2003 with a deep desire to provide services to help senior adults in our community.  In home, non-medical care seemed to be the way to help seniors continue to live independent lives and to provide employment to people who truly want to enrich the lives of others and themselves. 

The Lord has blessed this business and continues to do so.  Through the variety of services offered by Tender Touch, I pray that we will be able to help senior adults and their families find help, encouragement and peace in their lives.

From Dona McCurry, President and owner of Tender Touch Senior Services:
Dona and her husband Roger have three grown children, a daughter-in-law and one granddaughter.  Roger is the Minister to Senior Adults and Activities at Severns Valley Baptist Church.  Dona has a degree in Recreation with an Emphasis in Therapy from Georgetown College in Kentucky.  Her love and respect for her grandparents started her compassion for senior adults at an early age.  Dona has taught a senior adult exercise class for over 25 years.  Her interests and hobbies include being with and doing things for her family, working in her flower garden, and exercise.

Tender Touch is a service agency desiring to provide quality in-home, non-medical care to senior adults to help them stay independent in their own homes as long as possible.  It is our desire to provide quality, professional services for seniors with a loving, Christian attitude.

We provide caregivers who are responsible to their supervisor for their actions.

Billing is done from our office on a bi-monthly or monthly basis.  All taxes and payroll responsibilities are taken care of by the agency as instructed by the IRS.

Our caregivers are insured with liability insurance, surety bonding and Workman’s Comp insurance.

Caregivers talk frequently with their supervisors and give updates on their clients.

Our office staff is always willing to help solve problems and will help in any way possible when someone calls our office.
