Veteran Care

We are proud to serve our nation’s veterans by providing professional and compassionate in-home care through the VA’s Homemaker and Home Health Aide (H/HHA) Program. This valuable program allows eligible veterans to receive the support they need while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. Our dedicated caregivers assist with daily living activities, personal care, and light household tasks—all under the careful supervision of a registered nurse. With this program, veterans can maintain their independence and dignity, while receiving the respectful, high-quality care they deserve.

Private Pay

We proudly serve older adults and seniors who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes but need additional support to do so safely and comfortably. While these in-home services are not covered by Medicare, they are available to individuals with long-term care insurance or those choosing to pay privately. Each care plan is personalized to meet the unique needs of the client, whether they require help with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, or companionship. Our goal is to provide dependable, compassionate support that enhances quality of life and promotes independence at home.

About Us

Dona and Roger McCurry are owners of Tender Touch Senior Services, Tender Touch Senior Living and Tender Touch Heart & Home. Dona started the business in August 2003 with a brochure, business license and a deep desire to help senior adults. Husband, Roger, has been a minister for over 36 years before working full time in his travel business, Koinonia Travels and Tours, after almost 30 years at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown.

Our Staff

At Tender Touch Senior Services, we know how important it is to feel confident and comfortable with the person providing care in your home. That’s why each member of our caregiving team is carefully selected through a thorough hiring process. Our caregivers undergo reference and background checks, drug screening, and meet ongoing training requirements to ensure they provide the highest level of care. As a certified agency with the state of Kentucky, we fully comply with all state and federal employment regulations. Our caregivers are also covered by Worker’s Compensation Insurance and our company’s extensive liability coverage for your peace of mind. Most importantly, every caregiver on our team shares one common trait—a genuine heart to serve others with compassion, dignity, and respect.
